Turbocharger troubleshooting
Remove the inlet pipe of compressor and check whether the wheel is damaged; Move the wheel with finger and check whether it can rotate flexibly; and feel whether the shaft clearance is normal by hands. (Reference normal range: Radial clearance<1mm, axial clearance≤ 0.2mm)
Mostly, if wheels are not damaged by foreign matter, there is low possibility of turbocharger failure, if it is intact in appearance, and shaft wheel assembly can rotate flexibly, wheels do not rub the shell, and its clearance is normal (it can be considered to normal if the wheels was press gently it can rotate without rubbing housing).

Abnormal wear of bearing and rotor shaft

Oil leakage
1、 The engine exhaust pipe smokes heavily, which is usually black or blue;
2、 There is oil leakage at the connecting part of turbocharger and inlet& outlet pipelines.
3、 Engine power decreases and fuel consumption increases.
